General Information

The Zurich Marriott Hotel features 13 meeting rooms and four foyers with a total surface of 1730 m² to fulfill the needs of any event. All rooms feature natural lighting and high-tech amenities. Our Millennium Ballroom is perfect for hosting business or social events for up to 650 persons. Underground parking facilities provide further convenience to the downtown location of the hotel.


The Millennium Ballroom - more space and a lot of daylight

The Millennium Ballroom is one of the largest venues in downtown Zurich. Your event takes place in a 470 m² pillar-free meeting space for up to 650 persons. Experience the extraordinary amount of daylight through the 200 m² glass front. The Millennium Ballroom is perfectly suited for product presentations, conferences, large weddings and many other occasions.

Room Setup Examples

Conference or Carré

This style is appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for less than 25 people. In our Century Ballroom however, this style can be set up for to 50 people if required.

Cabaret

This seating is specifically used for presentations and performances. In this type of seating the round tables are only half occupied, so every participant has a good view of the stage. Our Millennium Ballroom can accommodate up to 224 people in this seating-style.

E, U and T- Setup

This style is appropriate for groups of up to 40 people. It is best used for interaction with a presenter seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual equipment is usually set up at the open end of the seating.

Theatre

Theatre is appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.

Classroom

The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures, but requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.

Reception

This style usually does not feature a lot of furniture which allows guests to mingle freely and it is of used for social events. Drinks and light meals are either placed on small buffet tables or are served by waiters. Guests are mostly standing and high cocktail tables may be added to the set up for guest to put down their glasses. This may also take place as a prelude to a dinner party.

Banquet – oval or round tables

This style is generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably and a six foot round table seats 10 people.
